THE TRUTH BETWEEN THE FLAT EARTH THEORY AND TOROUNDED 
(Study of the perspective of the Quran)

Earth is the third planet from the Sun, which is where we livenow. But the end of the year 2016, many an authenticationdone by researchers about the shape of the Earth, whichStates that the Earth was flat. From a word that manyscientists, religious figures and also among studentsdebating the revelation. There was a siding to an oldstatement or the Earth is round, and many also argue thatthe Earth is flat. Therefore, in the writing of this article theauthor menyapaikan all studies are facts from varioussources of opinion conducted by the institutions against theEarth, as well as the statements of scholars or muslimcharacters that are based on the Holy Quran against the trueshape of the Earth. In the history of the State that a flat earth can we know fromsome of the beliefs of the ancients, such as: the ancientworld (Egypt, Israel and Greece), ancient India, AncientNorwgei, Ancient China and Ancient Germany. In theirstatement declared that antiquity presume that they moreearth discshaped mainland surroundedby oceas calledkun. While the opinions of a more Ancient India believe thatthe Earth is a discshaped, composed of 4 continents,mountain is similar to petals. Different again with opinion ofNorway and Germany which believe more Earth like disc atits centre there is a large tree giant snake accompaniedpingir the disc. But behind the belief that none of the partiescan attest to and from which source the statement that theEarth is round in ancient times.

In contrast to today, where the recently restored opinionsand theories put forth by an author named SamuelRowbothan who are titled "Zetecic Astronomy. The title ofthe meaning of the word expressed doubts against theantronomi which says that the Earth is round, so themucullah assumption with some explanation that the Earthwas flat.

Likewise, Ibn Hazm vol berka: "the priests of the Muslims theright to mendapar the title priest narrated anhum does notdeny that the Earth is round. Nor are known from those whoargue at all, even evidence from Qur'an and Sunnah provesthat the Earth is round ". Therefore, as a lay muslim we neednot follow his predecessors especially believe like ancienttimes stating that the Earth is flat instead of round. Becausein the Qur'an it is said that the Earth is round and not flat oras a dish. It also reminds us that we must be careful in takingdecisions, because in fact the Qur'an is true and not a singleword is wrong or doubtful. That's the thing that must bedone by a muslim "believe in the Koran and be careful ininterpreting". 
Of all the statements above stating that the Earth is flat is anancient belief that return on the introduction by an authornamed Samuel Rowbothan. Whereas in some of theGlorious Qur'an verse asserted by some of the great muslimfigures such as Dr. Zakir Naik, "Buya" Hamka, tafsir andcompanion of Quraish Shihab said that the Earth is not flatand not round, but always continuously experienceturnaround.
